Wellness Program for Contruction Workers in BC - ICBA

Wellness Program

Wellness in construction workplaces

You’ve worked hard to make your job sites physically safe. But creating a truly healthy workplace doesn’t end there. Mental health, physical fitness, and inclusive and respectful workplaces help employees bring their best selves to work every day.

Promoting employee well-being and a healthy workplace culture can be especially challenging in construction, with its often-irregular hours and multiple and sometimes remote job sites. And many construction workers still fit the “strong silent” profile and may not find it easy to open up about mental wellness-related issues.

ICBA’s Workplace Wellness Program is designed to create lasting workplace culture change, with benefits for both employers and employees.

ICBA Wellness is available, free-of-charge, to all member companies.

Our long-standing commitment to the construction industry gives us a deep and unique understanding of the business and your workforce. With a proven track record in benefit services and training delivery, we have extensive and highly-relevant expertise.

It was staggering to read the mental health statistics regarding construction workers, and the struggles many are attempting to overcome. The well-being of our employees is a major priority and if, unrecognized by management, any TAG workers are struggling and the guidance this Wellness Program has to offer makes a positive impact, signing up becomes vindicated.
